1. Albumin
A heat-coagulatable, water-soluble globular protein found in egg white, blood plasma and many other plant and animal tissues. Albumin from cow blood is often used as an enzyme stabilizer.

2. Albuminuria
More than normal amounts of a protein called albumin in the urine. Albuminuria may be a sign of kidney disease, a problem that can occur in people who have had diabetes for a long time.
