1. Carpal tunnel syndrome
A nerve disorder affecting the hand that may occur in people who do a lot of repetitive hand motions, such as typing or doing assembly-line work; caused by a pinched nerve.

2. Carpal tunnel syndrome
Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by the compression of the median nerve by the carpal ligament in the wrist. Classic symptoms include pain and numbness in the wrist and hand (the area innervated by the nerve); wasting or paralysis of the abductor pollicis brevis muscle.
