1. Cerebrospinal fluid
A fluid within the skull which surrounds the brain and the top of the spinal cord that helps cushion these organs from blows and other trauma.

Cerebrospinal fluid is the clear fluid that fills the cerebral ventricles and subarachnoid space (the areas that surround the brain and the spinal cord). It is produced by the choroid plexuses.
