1. Glucan
One of a group of polysaccharide sugar s composed of D- glucose monomer s linked together by glycosidic bond s. Examples of glucans are dextran , laminarin, and lichenin.

2. Glucan-1,4-glucosidase
An enzyme which removes the last 1,4-linked alpha-D- glucose residue from the nonreducing end of a long chain (or polymer ) of such residues, making a beta-D-glucose molecule out of it in the process.
