1. Glucocorticoid
One of the three groups of steroid hormone s which are produced by the adrenal cortex . There are three different types of glucocorticoids cortisone, corticosterone, and cortisol. These hormones increase the rate at which protein s are broken down (catabolized), mobilize free fatty acid s, regulate the making of glucose in the liver ( gluconeogenesis ), and decrease the inflammatory response including allergic responses (are anti inflammatory compounds).

2. Glucocorticoids
A group of steroid hormones produced by the adrenal cortex that are important in regulating the metabolism of carbohydrates , fats, and proteins.
