1. Indirect immunofluorescence
A lab technique used to detect the presence of antigen s. A detector antibody first reacts with the antigen. Then an indicator antibody which has been labelled with a fluorescent marker attaches to the detector antibody. Finally, the researcher conducting the lab technique looks for fluorescence from the indicator antibody that is attached to the detector antibody that has reacted with the antigen.
