1. Non-Q wave infarction
This is myocardial infarction that is associated with positive MB fractions, ST-T waves changes, but in the absence of Q waves on the EKG. It is believed that these type of myocardial infarction is the result of either incomplete occlusion of the coronary artery or spontaneous lysis of a thrombus . As such, it is associated with higher chance of ischemia and re-infarction.
