1. Phosphoenolpyruvate
An enol phosphate, phosphoenolpyruvate is formed by the dehydration of 2-phosphoglycerate during glycolysis . It has a very high phosphoryl group-transfer potential due to its enol form being converted in a ketone (pyruvate).
